FEDTERM MANUAL - CHANGING FEDTERM'S LOOKSOUND EFFECTSFedTerm will play short sounds when certain things happen in the game - for example when you board your shuttle to take off or land. If you don't want these sounds to play you can turn them off by clicking on 'Sound FX' in the 'Extras' menu. Turn them back on again by selecting the same menu item. This has no effect on whether the Friends alert or Text alert plays - those are handled separately. If you want to be selective about which of the sound effects play, then you can just delete the files for the sounds you don't want. You will find them in the sounds sub-folder of your FedTerm folder. You can also substitute your own sounds for the ones supplied with FedTerm - just find a .wav file that you like and rename it so it overwrites the old version.
