FEDERATION 2 EVENTS - CRYPTOGRAMS

A cryptogram is a message or phase in code. To solve a cryptogram, look for easily recognized words. For example, a single letter word would be I or A. Common three letter words might be the, and, or you. Once you figure out a letter, copy that letter through the puzzle. If R=A, look for every R and replace it with A.

The game is played over the channel Cryptograms, but players also gather at a Sol Bar of the host's choice, if they choose.

In this game, the host will give a list of six words or phrases with a common topic. if you figure out one word, it should give you a clue to the other words in the list. The first person to TB to the host all five words will receive three points. The second person will receive two points, and the third person will receive one point. You can TB the words one at a time, or all at once.

If no one has figured out any words in five minutes, the host will give out one of the letters. The game will consist of five lists if there is time, at the end of which scores are tallied and recognition given for the top three players.
